IMPORTANT!
The #1 Question I get asked is:
"Is (insert any class here) Full?"

The website is always up-to-date, if a class is changed or has filled-up, (and is therefore closed) -- it will be reflected right here on this website within a couple of hours (at most) -- Even if a class that you're interested in does fill up -- if it hasn't started yet it's best to just register anyway -- because you never know what might happen at the last minute. Usually things have a way of working out!

Classes at The Studio are for ADULTS (18+)
(Unless otherwise noted in the class description!

 

Registration and Payment Policy  View Registration Form

You are only considered REGISTERED for a class if:

A signed, complete Registration form is submitted with:

FULL PAYMENT > IF: You are paying by credit card

-- OR --

FULL PAYMENT > IF: The class fee is less than $150.00

-- OR --

A $150.00 DEPOSIT > IF: You are paying with a money-order, check, or with cash. [Please make checks payable to C.P. Casting.] DEBIT CARDS may be considered as a "check" for the policies outlined here.

Any remaining balance that is due should be paid AT OR BEFORE the 1st class!

Any payments submitted are refundable only with at least 1 week's notice prior to the first day of class. Returning students must re-register for each new term. You may register by mail or FAX, simply by printing out and using the registration form right here on this website!

We cannot register anyone over the phone, or online through this website. All you need to do is print out a registration form and drop it in the mail, or FAX it right over to us!

[Some exceptions may be made when signing up for a class at the last minute!]

TIP: If you're paying planning on paying by check or money order and mailing in your Registration Form - please send an email to matt@cpcasting.com and let me know it's on it's way -- or if you have access to a FAX, why not FAX over your form? Just let me know on the form that you're mailing in your deposit/payment!

PREREQUISITES
If you've never taken a formal acting class -- here or anywhere else -- before, then it is required that you take a "Basics of Acting" course before you will be allowed to enroll in any other class or seminar that is not labeled "All Levels" - Classes and seminars labeled "All Levels" do not require a prerequisite.

If you have taken any formal acting classes at another institution, then you must include that information where requested on the registration form before you will be allowed to enroll in any class not labeled "All Levels."

You also might also have enough of an acting background to skip the "Basics" class, just be sure to include your acting experience on your registration form and we'll go from there!


Attendance of all scheduled classed is recommended, and missing class(es) is not grounds for any full or partial refund, nor would you be allowed to "make-up" the classes. Be sure to notify your scene partner if you know you'll be missing a class!

If classes are canceled by The Studio, due to extreme weather or other circumstances - Then your class will meet for additional weeks after it's originally scheduled end date to make up the lost hours. Classes that are canceled by The Studio for any reason will always be re-scheduled.

Because C.P. Casting is a working Casting Company, and some of the instructors are working actors, classes might occasionally need to be re-scheduled on short notice, so be sure that The Studio has appropriate telephone numbers to contact you the day of your scheduled class, and check your messages at that telephone number on class days.


Note that by enrolling in a class at The Studio, no guarantees of employment are made or implied by C.P. Casting. (...but, you never know what might happen around here!)

Discounts!

Tuition reductions on all classes are available for StageSource Members, and former students of The Studio at C.P. Casting. Those who are members of StageSource, or former students, pay the lower MEMBERS price as indicated next to each class.
